🛒Getting started
- How do I sign up?
- Open /signup, enter your phone number, then verify with the SMS code we send. No card or document is required to start.
- How do I create my first listing?
- After signup, go to Sell → New listing. Add a title, photos, price, and location. Hit Publish and it goes live (subject to a quick moderation pass).
- How do I set up my storefront?
- Dashboard → Storefront. Pick a slug (your public shop will live at /shop/<slug>), add a logo, contact details, and a short tagline.
- What languages does Adwuma support?
- English and French today. Twi, Yoruba, Hausa, and Wolof are on the roadmap and partial in the AI Co-pilot already.
💰Payments + payouts
- What payment methods do you accept?
- MoMo (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo), Orange Money, Wave, card (Visa / Mastercard), and bank transfer — depending on country.
- When do my payouts arrive?
- MoMo + Wave: same-day. Card + bank: 24-48 h. Your first payout requires a one-time KYC verification.
- Do you take a commission on sales?
- No. We charge a flat monthly subscription on paid tiers. Payment-processor fees are passed through at cost and itemised on each payout.
- How do refunds work?
- Buyers can open a dispute up to 7 days after delivery. We mediate; you can refund directly from /orders/<id> if you agree.
🆔KYC + verification
- Do I need to verify to sell?
- Level 1 (phone verification) unlocks listing and selling. Level 2 (ID verification via Smile ID) is required for pay-outs above GH₵ 5,000 / week.
- What does the Verified Seller badge mean?
- Tiered badges based on KYC level, business registration, sales volume, and review rating. Shown on every storefront for buyer confidence.
- How do I get the highest verification tier?
- KYC Level 2 + a business registration document + at least 30 completed orders + average rating ≥ 4.5.
💸Credit + loans
- Who is eligible for credit?
- Sellers with at least 90 days of activity, a phone-verified account, and consistent sales history. Higher KYC unlocks larger limits.
- How is my credit score calculated?
- See /credit for the full breakdown: KYC level, account tenure, ledger volume, listing activity, completed orders, and repayment history.
- Who actually lends the money?
- Vetted partner lenders. Adwuma is the platform — your data is shared only with lenders you explicitly opt into.
📦Listings + moderation
- How fast does a new listing go live?
- Most listings auto-publish in under 5 minutes after AI moderation. Items in sensitive categories (firearms-adjacent, health, financial) may be held for human review.
- Why was my listing rejected?
- Common reasons: counterfeit jargon, missing required fields (VIN for vehicles, IMEI for phones), or off-platform redirects in the description. See the rejection email for the specific rule.
- How do Boost packages work?
- Boost lifts a listing to the top of category and search for 7–30 days, depending on tier. See /premium for tiers and pricing.
⚙️Account + privacy
- How do I export my data?
- Go to /data-export. You’ll receive a download link by email within 24 h with a JSON archive of everything we hold.
- How do I delete my account?
- Go to /data-delete. After phone-OTP confirmation, your account enters a 14-day undo window. After that it’s permanently destroyed.
- How do I change my password / phone number?
- Dashboard → Settings → Security. Phone changes require both the old number SMS and the new number SMS.
